Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Information Systems at Murray State University in the Bauernfeind College of Business.
After 15 years of entrepreneurship, martial art mastery, and theological formation I moved into the tech sector. This led to more than a decade as a senior software engineer and technology team leader. I entered academia in 2023 to examine how computer science and artificial intelligence are transforming knowledge, authority, and the human person.
My work operates at the intersection of AI ethics, computer science, education, and theological anthropology, advancing an emerging framework for understanding how intelligent systems shape interpretation, trust, and moral formation. I am particularly focused on the rise of AI as a form of simulated interpretive authority and its implications for human judgment, responsibility, and belief in an increasingly mediated world.
Through both research and teaching, I aim to help define a new interdisciplinary field concerned not only with how we build intelligent systems, but with how those systems, in turn, form us.
I teach to form builders of technology who recognize that every system they design carries ethical, intellectual, and spiritual consequence. This work is not simply a profession, it is a vocation.
